ABOUT US
Hancock County Fights Cancer is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization looking to unite the entire county in the fight against cancer by raising funds for HUGS (Helping Us Give Support) a local support group that provides financial help to families in Hancock County that are going through cancer. We also support cancer research. We encourage teams from all over Hancock County to join the FIGHT and help raise funds. Together we can make a difference.
Begin your morning with a choice of a 5-mile trek, a 5K run, or a leisurely 1-mile walk at the Strawberry Strut event.
Afterward, head over to the Hancock County historic square where Hancock County Fights Cancer awaits, offering entertainment and a variety of food trucks. Explore the Hearts of Hope exhibit, dedicated to honoring, remembering, or celebrating those who have battled cancer, and join us in acknowledging cancer survivors.
Don't forget to showcase your car or truck in the Car Show and let it shine!
As the day unfolds, immerse yourself in the Carthage Chamber of Commerce's "Struttin Around the Block" Farmers Market, featuring special sales, games, and an array of exciting activities. There's so much to enjoy!
